About Me
I am currently offering counselling and psychotherapy, face-to-face, online and over the telephone. I am based in Nottingham where I provide counselling and psychotherapy to young people (16+) and adults. My aim is to offer clients a warm and accepting space where they can learn self-compassion, self-awareness and self-acceptance.
I like to think of myself as a well-rounded person who has known life at its best and worst.
I believe in taking responsibility for oneself and the power of making choices that are attuned with one's real self. I am a warm, straightforward person and I am passionate about life and living.
My desire to become a Counsellor/Psychotherapist emerged from a deep need to find purpose and to make sense of my own life. Counselling enabled me to do all that, but most importantly it laid the ground for a continuous journey of emotional and personal growth in which I am thrilled to have embarked.
Drawing on my own experience, I hope that I can assist others who may be seeking their own truth and searching for meaning in a crazy world
I create work-life balance by taking time to do some of the things I love, like going to galleries, running, following sport, practising yoga, reading, watching films, listening to music and walking in the countryside.
Digital Privacy Policy:
I politely request that both potential and actual clients who contact me via email, text and social media offer limited personal detail in their communication, as electronic forms of communication are sometimes insecure. Instead, personal and sensitive information will be securely held in the therapy room in a face-to-face setting.
Integrative therapy
As an Integrative therapist I will take a 360° view of my client, taking into consideration their physical, mental and emotional needs. By drawing on several different types of therapy, we will find a solution that is unique to you. My aim is to establish a trusting and comfortable relationship with you and by helping you develop self-awareness we will work together to understand your feelings and behaviours.
